Our story begins with a spoiler: A media and entertainment company was going to experience a cybersecurity incident. Would it be an insider event originating within the company? A ransomware attack affecting operations? Or a breach of data from one of its many productions filming across the globe? The company couldn’t predict how an incident would happen, or when, but it had to be prepared.

Life sciences and health care

The business sought a security provider when it realized its current capabilities could not support its growth. Deloitte was selected because the MXDR platform represented a solution encompassing the traits that it valued, including leading practices, scalability, and efficiency of tools and actions. The quick deployment time of the solution was an added benefit.

Consumer

The business fell victim to a ransomware attack and recognized that without proper protection it could continue to be affected and targeted. Deloitte provided a proactive defense capability coupled with a response component to help them detect and identify threats with greater fidelity and then promptly respond to and eradicate those attacks.

Manufacturing

A client was building a new, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Asia and wanted to design and build the facility with best-in-class OT cybersecurity. Deloitte supported the client in designing the security architecture and developing a set of OT security policies and standards that will apply to the new facility and will also be retrofitted into existing facilities.
